No. A lot of money to spend on something used and unseen.

Saw it on Gumtree for Melbourne.

Silly screen profiler is telling me 120-140 cd/m². For a while I could never get black and white photos printed right.
So if you're not printing your photos, I think higher end monitors are a waste of money (just in case there's a noob out there like me lusting after colour corectness and stuff).

Picked up this today, also picking up a 10-20 wide angle, came with Hoya UV lenses and a ND filter for each, along with 64gb sandisk extreme mem card, bag etc.

Cant wait to get back into some photography this year, although it's been a while so could be a few hicups along the way :)

don't sell it ... lease it
I'm not sure you'd be able to get $1,000,000 out right for it but im pretty sure with some good advertising you could get $50 .... 20,000 times :D

I too have bought a new toy (nothing like some of the crazy stuff ive drooled over in this thread)

So I managed to find one of these at a good price...
The image stabilization on this thing is amazing.

For some reason I still like the Image quality on my EOS-M and 22mm, I will have to play around some more.

Finally ordered a replacement Tamron 28-75 as my old one has been dead for quite some time now. I've accepted that there's no alternative close for ~$360 and so stopped searching!

They really are a good lens for the price, decided I'll just keep mine and my battered old 5D till it dies. Actually come to think of it, for a budget kit 5Dc+28-75mm is amazing, better than some plastic crap and kit lens. Imagine trying to get a decent zoom and FF dslr for under $1k a few years ago, just not possible.

Couple Pentax lenses from Gumtree. A DA18-135mm for everyday situations. Also weather resistant so I can now actually use my camera in dodgy weather. And my first prime, a DA35mm. Combined they normally retail for about $950ish. Got them 2nd hand, 2 weeks old (if not true, they are in spotless condition regardless) for $365.

The zoom will replace the 18-55mm kit lens that came with the K-30. The prime was a bonus. Now need to experiment with it.
