    :D

I've wanted one of these since they were announced. Replaces an old 400d that I gave to my dad, I'm hoping to reignite my old passion for photography and video.

As a compromise with my fiance (wedding in 4 weeks time!) I opted for a 14-45mm instead of the lovely 12-35 in order to save some cash. I'll upgrade later.

I bought a 0.6 and a 0.9 soft GND Lee filter as well as an adapter ring and foundation kit second hand yesterday.

It's a P30+. Not quite as sexy as the iQ range, but the P+ series still output some gorgeous files.

Indeed. It also doesn't set you back $50K+. Very nice bit of kit.

I never thought I'd spend over $400 just on memory cards but it has happened

2x Transcend 64gb 1000x cards are on their way

I can't remember how much I paid for the 16mb card with my IXUS back in 2000. But it wasn't cheap. Ulp

    I still have two Canon G2 :D
In 2008, I brought both of them with me on holiday. My 30D shutter died very early into the trip!

    I finally found one! :D

(I'm using this, an EyeFi Pro, and an iPod touch to edit and upload photos on the go.)
