Official iOS app for the Phantom 3 is out, got a few more flights in today. This thing is amazing, mixing photography and RC toys - two of my favorite hobbies!!

    How to embed?

    Looks Sweet!

Easiest way to embed I find is to grab the code after the V in the URL. Then copy paste that in between the Youtube Tags on OCAU when you are typing your post.

[ YOUTUBE] pBpjRuhUl_E [ /YOUTUBE] (Spaces added to show, below working)

bbCode editor is pretty good. Paste the video string into the editor, highlight it, and then hit the youtube button in the editor toolbar. Works for most of the other tools too.

Nice... I'm considering one of these as a backup in the future, not right away though.

Have you tried it with any of the old leaf shutter lenses? If so, does the leaf shutter actuate with the camera?

My bad, ramped the volume up too loud on the clip. Uber noob at video, so this has been a good learning experience in a few ways

Here's the video with corrected levels hopefully:

    absolutely.

    1 order from Amazon of

    Meikon a6000 Housing + Tray

Wide angle dome + red filter

They were shipped from Hong Kong.
( but in hindsight i dont think I'll use the red filter much )

1 order from Ebay AU of 2x secondhand Light&Motion Sola 500 lights

1 order from Digital Diver for the clamps , arm segments , light mounts and gopro coldshoe mount.

I haven't had much time to get it out in the water yet. I took the housing down to 20m without the camera just to check its waterproof seal , and it was just fine.

Damn.. all the Camdive stuff went up in price a lot in the past week. I bought a few bits and pieces from them already and want to get some more stuff.

I have an Archon W42VR coming from CamDive right now.. 5,200 lumens :)

I reckon! I was shocked how much cheaper they were even from reputable sellers (so they're hopefully not fakes).

this popped up cheap on Gumtree so i pounced.

good compliment to my A77ii - may sell off the older A850 now as dont think i need 2x FF bodies.
the a850 is a bit nostalgic though, OVF, loud mirror slap, solid build quality and really low shutter count, may just keep it

    Congratulations.
You'll love it. Lots of little incremental improvements or differences. The only things that will frustrate are the autofocus and buffer compared to the A77ii. At least for me.

As for the A850, I would be inclined to keep it. I know I keep saying I don't need more bodies but.............

    BTW How much is 'cheap'?
