Finally upgraded to FX over the weekend, the D90 was getting a bit old and had lost a bit of interest in photography. I ended up picking up a D750, it was down to that or a D810, i picked the former as it had a faster frame rate, less crippling file size and $1300 less expensive. Haha

Thanks guys, I used to spend a good amount of time in the photography section of OCAU but just took up other hobbies but photography has always been a passion. Now to get some nice FX lenses.. Haha

Been tossing up between getting the Sigma 20mm or 24mm ART for a while, finally bit the bullet and chose the 20mm. Don't regret it.

Super light, very sharp and autofocus is nippy. All in all a very nice 300mm especially since it's so damn tiny.

I'll post some photos 2 weeks when I'll have an opportunity to thoroughly test it at Wings over Illawarra

Edit: Though in some situations it's supposed to have an odd flare due to the Fresnel element inside it (you can see the concentric rings inside the lens).

Ahh been wanting to try one of these for ages. Got it at a good enough price second hand when I'm ready to sell before I return home it'll cost effectively a 4 day rental :)

Love it already, gonna be hard to let it go.

Cam-buy, but I placed the order about a month ago. I see that it's pretty much all on pre-order at most places.

Ended up grabbing a Leica 35mm f/1.4 Summilux pre ASPH recently. It's small and expensive but I got a very good deal and think it's terrific!
