    Yeah initial impressions were really positive! Biggest issue was operator error and a cheap tripod wobbling way too much so I know what to look at next (and a flash!) :D

    took advantage of the ebay 20% off and got the sigma 105mm 1.4 - since Nikon is coming with their mirrorless offerings, should be a good pair with that and my dslr's
    have a samyang 135mm F2 but its manual focus, and my 85mm's are all 1.8 (plus the Sony one will be getting sold, leaving just the 85mm G)

    Will see how it goes for some portraits and maybe some sports

    Just ordered a sigma art 35mm 1.4 in Sony e-mount , which apparently had limited stock availability.

    Should I return this and get a Smooth Q? Or am I being too picky here?

    Smooth 4 Pro's
    * USB C
    * Locking mechanism for standby without turning off and it flapping around (no need to reconnect with app in phone)
    * Focus wheel (but its mostly useful for locking focus to minimum distance for macro close ups, AF tracking in app works well).

    Cons
    * 300 degree pan vs full 360 degree pan on Smooth Q (you can set lock mode and indefinitely walk around the camera in a circle. Good with extension/monopod showing a scene, walking in from one side and out the other, also for shooting someone, walking in to join the)
    * No ability roll at all - it is locked (including follow "all" mode) - Smooth Q can roll 60 degree range (+/- 30) with the joystick.
    * No joystick

    Man, its like i woke up this morning and all my favorite primes developed IS :weirdo:
    My Zeiss 32mm 1.8 is rocking my world all over again!
    120fps 4 x 1080p with IS is so much fun, going to make for some fantastic toddler videos!
    Going to be a good weekend :thumbup:
