Got new clear replacement glass for camera sensors to practice with and hopefully learn how to do IR conversions and debayering…

Things have been getting pretty stupid over here...

Canon body family now equals this pile with the addition of the R6iii and R8 this week.
    IMG_7437.jpeg

R5 and R8 are mine and I take about 24,000 images a year and 6 of them are good.
R6iii and the R are my wife's and she takes about 60 images a year full stop...
(These are not brags... these are sadnesses)

Not pictured is the Fuji X-E5 I'm replacing with the R8. The R will likely also get sold to pay for a battery grip for the R6 cos my wife much prefers her cameras to be horrifically bulky and annoying to carry/use.

The R8 with the 28mm on it is insanely small for full frame. It fits in the same little baggy I use for the X-E5 and 23mm lens.

You know you can mount different lenses on a single body right

ROFL, I got a good giggle from this, thanks :D

I mounted all the bigger lenses I could dig out for the absurdity of it all.

I’m really impressed with the R8 so far.

Got a random email at work offering free Nikon Partner memberships, which come with 25% off gear.

So I got a Zfc body, and a 40mm f/2 as a lightweight walkaround, and a Neewer grip.

Then a BrightinStar 35mm f/0.95 manual focus lens, as reviewers seem to love it, and I'm willing to fork out $300 for the adventure.
