    Hi All,

Apologies if this is the wrong place, trying to find a business or someone in Brisbane that can repair 2x power supplies for Polycom CX5000 device.

Had a couple die over the years and Polycom have now told us that we our outside warranty and device is EOL.

    Anyone have any recommendations?

    You could try http://www.briselec.com.au/

Alternatively, the supply itself is 110-240V (50-60Hz), so you could look for US suppliers if you need a replacement.

Else a quick tickle on Uncle Google comes up that the power supply is plain 15 volts DC.

Being out of warranty and EOL, if their genuine supply keeps Blowing Up Sir then maybe consider digging a little deeper (for minimum required current capacity), then grafting a more reliable after-market one on?

Yeah had a look at the usual places. Everyone wants $400-800 minimum for replacements. Was hoping something local would be a lot cheaper.

Thats the next step after trying to look for local repair place. The box itself has a few different IO ports so didnt know how big of a task that would be.

    Thanks for both your help!

I can do some checks for you, northside brisbane. Electronics is my sideline.

Will have a look and see what you will need to do regarding ports etc.
