Nice shots indeed. Using a flash? What ISO were you shooting at?

nice clean pics, but dont like the angle the cars are shot at. leaves me turning my head to see the car. kinda spoils the pictures for me.

part of the reason for the angles was to get closer / fit the car in the frame, as the show was busy enough that if i stood back a few more steps, people would walk in between

fair enough, but the orientation spoils it for me. maybe re orientate the images with rotate will give you the best of both. the close in images but not spoiled by the angle.

Did you get any shots of the stuff outside? Some of the cars up for auction at the Shannons stalls are more drool-worthy than this stuff (but nice shots all the same! :)), particularly some of the rare and old stuff.

*Shameless Plug* Also, feel free to check out the QUT Motorsport stand outside the exhibition hall. We're about two-thirds of the way down, coming in from the southbank end. I'll be working there Saturday and most likely a couple of days in the week.

    Some great shots there Jakes.
I'm very impressed by your Evo and STi shots. How did you capture the moving Evo so well haha? Mine weren't so crash hot:wired: Oh and I virtually gave up on shooting the STi as there were about 50 teenage kids drooling all over it with the bonnet, doors etc open.

I'll throw a few of my pics up later today if you want to check them out. :) Edit: Updated my Flickr with Motor Show Pics

tkdwarrior: Which cars were you after from outside? I got a couple of them but they were just quick snaps then move on so obviously not of the quality photo I'd normally consider uploadworthy. I'm happy to throw a few up for you if you like though.

Nice shots, I love the vibrant red on the Type R and the focus on the bike dials!

I'm hoping to get my hands on a D40X for a trip in at the end this week :)

I find the use of angles a little annoying, I know it ties the shots together but trying something else would of been nice. Saying that the shot of the motorbike dials in focus and everything else out looks awesome mate .
