Broken Shuttle PSU

    Hi guys,

    I picked up this non working psu and I hoping you can tell me what the damaged component is and maybe an approximate cost to fix it would be.

    I've tried to take the best pics I could

    The one circled in red is blown it looks like a smaller version of the one circled in blue.

    Looks like a diode. If thats the only thing broken and you can find an appropriate replacement, it should only cost a few dollars to fix. But it having blown shows something went wrong so there may be other problems with it.

    Thanks Nuxie. I did wonder about if this has gone what elese is wrong with it. I'm guessing a million different things can cause a diode to blow ?

    Well apart from the diode being faulty, just overvoltage.
