Setting up a Home theatre and building a new HTPC.

I have an nvidia shield but I have the Philips Hue Sync for the lights and the HTPC runs this.

I have read the nvidia shield is the easiest way to go as I could use the HTPC just for storage and connect the nvidia shiled via USB to the PC (from my understanding, but might be wrong)

    4K approx 80GB sized files

    Windows 10
    intel
    nvidia
    50TB
    etc
    etc

    What software should I get?

    MadVR, Kodi, PLEX etc?

It is a standalone HTPC and does not need to be accessed from anywhere else apart from the room itself, nor stream to any other place.

Logitech Wireless keyboard but thinking a Logitech Harmony Remote

Do you have a link of how to do this?

I do not need to transcode at all....
