Building a retro Supermicro build

    Hi guys,

    I'm giving up finding an beige case for sale that looks decent, but the next best thing i have had an idea for is this Supermicro DS3A.

    My idea is to paint it beige, fit in an 5 1/4" floppy and also the smaller 3.5" hard disk.
    Maybe even do a window, so it's not completely old school looking. Although i'm not sure about the case fans

    Have a look at the back of the case if possible. Looks like the clip holding down the GPU is on a removable bracket accessed from the back.

    Ah, i see. Should be fine, i just purchased the case, it should arrive before the weekend and i can being planning the mods.
