    hey guys.

im sick of paying $4 for 100g from woolies.

so where can i get cheaper/bulk cheese? - short of getting a local resteraunt to order it from their supplier.

maybe there is a dairy close to sydney that supplies it to the public?

i remember in new zealand i went with my parents to a farm somewhere and got two big wheels of cheese.

at the time i thought we got jipped because there was holes in the cheese!. (i was under 5 i think)

what sort of cheese ? $4 for 100 grams

you could drive to bega , ie bega cheese , + in my town is unicorn cheese ( they make Brie and Camembert )

but if you want bulk ,goto a food wholesaler (PFD , campbells cash n carry etc)

Go to a market and ask a delicatessen for bulk prices.

I know Pelekan Deli in Footscray Market (in Victoria) specifically have a bulk section. Huge range of cheese too.

I'm just experimenting with their camembert... you know, try and find a cheap one that you like... anyways, it's pretty good! Now it may not have the subtle characteristics and smooth nuttiness of one 4 times the price, but it certainly has more than a 1/4, making it a very good ratio of balancing pain at loss of money to enjoyment at eating camembert.
