Yes, and it's cheap. I like those types because it's food I'd like to eat. Those "fancy" magazines, I turn the pages and go "yuck", "yuck" "ewww", I like plain type food, not weird and wonderful. I don't know why I bother buying/reading recipes when I hardly ever get around to making things, but nonetheless..... I've just rearranged my kitchen and cleaned out the pantry, so I'm hoping I'll be able to make some more things. Tikka masala's on my list. Pizza with BBQ sauce is on my list.

Maybe I should just sign on for eharmony or somewhere and put "willing to cook me Retard's recipes" as top requirement?

Heh I was telling my partner (who is a chef) about this thread the other night, I was pretty overexcited to share the pics and story .

By god, I'm jealous of you. Does she like cooking at home, though? Often, chefs don't want to "work" when they are off-duty.

The first thing I'd do if I won lotto would be to hire a personal chef.

Hehe I'm pretty lucky to be honest. She *loves* to cook even after a 14 hour split shift at work. She always wants to make me food and desserts because I'm always showering her with compliments hehe. But I sometimes feel bad! Since I can't cook as good as her, I just take her to fancy restaurants lol.

I'll PM you some pics instead of posting here :D.

I wrote my first small piece for the Adelaide Advertiser a couple months back.
Early April it was printed :leet:

I don't mind some fancy stuff now and then, but for the most part I'm cooking things i think the average person / family would like.
You must have been inspired by scon's pantry :) Just get in there and cook something!
you could be the first eharmony member to genuinely & literally love hot beef injections :weirdo:

Your partner probably thinks its all overrated
She's a real chef, perhaps she can come and teach us some tricks!

    scon's pantry?
I do, it's not the cooking I have trouble with, it's the eating. Whatever I make means eating it for days unless it's freezable and I like having different things.

No, I haven't been subscribed to that one. My pantry's pretty organized (I've got tupperware modular mates) but these blasted moths had come in on something (budgie treats, I think) and I hadn't gotten around to stripping down the cupboards. Lot of good it's done me.... We'll get there, eventually.
