I think the saturated look works very well for these shots. And the water in #2 is pretty cool.
number two would make a good painting, if you're that inclined
Love the water in #2
Lovely colours and composition
There's just something about them that annoys me... Can't put my finger on it, though...
Very nice use of saturation, most times it doesn't work but this time it does.
loving the colours! good job! I wish I had bought a DSLR when I had gone through Europe!
Burano is all about colours, thus the saturation ..
I think they are pretty cool, very well executed. they look like the kind of shots that come with picture frames from target (mum got some a while back). top stuff
Extremely colourful. #2 would be my choice also, simply for how the water looks with all the colour
first pic is really like a painting
Lovely colours mixed in with the clear sky.
When we went a couple of years back, the day we went to Burano , it pissed down.
Very nice shots brings back lots of memories. The depth of the colours is amazing. Well done.
Would love to visit Venice, it's high on the list of places to see for me, and this just urges me even more to see it : )
Same here, it was pouring down in the morning so there weren't so many people. Most of the house front were taken in very dark cloudy environment. but by the afternoon the cloud moved out and it was too harsh to take good photos.
IMO, the best time to take photos during the day are during cloudy or raining period.
I like everything about them except the postprocessing, whcih seems a little heavy...
good shots though
