Any recommendations for a Cloud solution for a business of 6 staff, they have 80mbit/25mbit connection.

Prefer it to be a virtual shared folder as close to a SMB shared resource as possible (prefer not to have software needed to be opened, unless seamless)

    Cheers

Something as simple as Dropbox will do it, just install the plugin and create a shortcut to the shared folder.

Depends on how much they want to spend, they can look at https://www.getfilecloud.com/ which will do drive mappings but you're looking at $8p/m per user, no mention of storage size.

You can also look at spinning up a VM File Server somewhere and sync AD with an on-premise DC if they have one.

Many ways to skin a cat .

Thanks, was thinking dropbox, it does decent job of not being to cumbersome but wanted to keep options open for other/better options.

Current solution is a server on site with openVPN serving out the shared resource but its not always working too great when out and about, so cloud is the direction I want to take them.

Dropbox is pretty lean and flexible enough plus the app's pretty handy if you need to quickly check something from your phone.

If the company grows I'd look at different options but for a start Dropbox is easy.

We use Filecloud in our cloud platform as a multitenanted service. Clients either use the sync app or the drive map mounter app to access, and data is pooled across accounts.
