The trailer makes it looks like the bastard lovechild of Killzone and Crysis sprinkled with a light dusting of Titanfall and served with a generous side of Kevin Spacey.

The gfx are certainly a step up and the gameplay looks like what you expect from COD, I might just borrow it and play through the SP on Xbox this time round since I don't really care for COD mp.

I'd still go back to bf4 cos it looks way better.

Which is why they had the upgrade programs. It was simple and cheap to get a next-gen copy after purchasing a copy for the older consoles.

It sold poorly in comparison because the franchise took a nosedive in quality with Ghosts. Looks like they might be able to pick it up again though.

yeah, the quality for a supposed "next-gen" COD just wasn't there. BF4, for all it's bugs, is definitely superior in graphics and gameplay experience...I would also put titanfall as well for doing something different.

IW will die...just a matter of when.

Well it was announced that neversoft and Infinity Ward have merged into a 'super dev team'. So they won't die any time soon. Instead of choosing a new name they are sticking with IW because of its association with
    making the crappier
    COD games.

    So RIP Neversoft.

Thats why i purchase all my games from key sites. Steam, ebgames etc are just overpriced for what the game is.

Well here we are, 2 weeks away from another yawn of a release and Condrey has let slip that dedicated servers are supported.

Just which platforms are supporting it - nobody knows. Obviously a play for the PC gaming dollars before release. I bet it is supported on XBone but not PC, and all the kiddies will go and preorder based on this..

Either way, I had AW gifted to me so I will be playing it regardless.

Technically on the 3rd if you pre-order online with digital download, but with time differences that ends up being late on the 3rd for us.

It goes full release on the 4th, so yes that is Melbourne Cup day.

If you are getting it delivered, then you will not get it until at least the 5th. They cannot release the product until 12:01am on the 4th, meaning it gets sent out on the 4th.

Even if it is local to you, you will not get it to the 5th, likely the 6th.

As a result of this, I only buy digital copies now, or pre-order directly from steam (or get it Steam Gifted). That allows the preloading and then soon as the game unlocks, you only download a couple of hundred megs and you are live.
