Ground war is nowhere near BF in terms of scale or gameplay but its still kinda fun plus you get all the other game modes.

I had only been playing BF for years myself but ended up buying this, having not played a COD since COD4 and I reckon its 100% worth it.

And the campaign is worth checking out, way better than BF campaigns.

The campaign is short, but it's bloody good.

Only just worked out that realism isn't hardcore and u need to press a weird button in filter quick play to get actual hardcore modes.

Hey, so do people want to set up an OCAU clan and actually play the game? :D Like a full discord chat, plan when we can have some matches? Essentially co-ordinate? Cause like, the PUGs are cool and all, and it actually works really well, but, there are so many people that just play and don't communicate in game, leading to inevitable loses.

The amount of times I've been covering one hall/room/entrance and thought a team mate had my back (when they'd actually left - especially in dom) and died, I've lost track.

    Thoughts?

I approve of this, my play times are pretty sporadic these days being a filthy casual now but would jump on a discord if someone wants to get one started.

Tried MP again today, doing much better now thanks to walker's tips. :)
I'm only doing quick match/team deathmatch and using M4(way better than w/e the crap I was using).
Played ~5 games and think I averaged ~0.8 kdr.. thought I'd try something different and changed the resolution from 1440p to 1080p. Then suddenly my kdr almost doubled.

Not 100% sure if it was just luck or due to much higher fps(or both), but I think 2080Ti might be bit slow for CoD MP @ 1440p.
I remember getting ~120fps average @ 1440p on SP, but maybe it drops below 100fps @ 1440p on MP?

Good work. I average 100+ at 1440p but maybe just lower some settings instead of 1080p which will make it harder to see enemies at distance

Umm installed Rivatuner Statistics Server so I can check the average fps accurately, but for some reason I can't seem to get min/average/max fps to display on screen(?).
Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Most games have an option to show FPS on the top of screen .
    COD does
Get rid of that software .
I used it and didn't like it .

I can get fps to display by pressing Alt+F12 on any game(NVidia GeForce Experience) but I wanna get accurate average fps.

You might be right but then pros will play at 4K lowest setting, but afaik all pros still play at 1080p. When I tried 1080p it was much easier to aim(felt like my accuracy just doubled).. not sure if it was due to lower res or faster fps tho.

Correct pros play at 1080p 24" for high fps and low eye movements but running 1080p on an lcd with native 1440p = blur fest.

If you want to be more competitive go a 240hz TN.

However as a casual gamer even competitively you can do just fine at 1440p 27"

Benno1988 is a gun at that res and should stop playing failpex and get into cod and back into pubg.

Definitely don't have a problem being competitive, or at least, being above average at 1440P on a 27" IPS 165hz panel.

I'd just recommend running at 144hz so you get 4:4:4

And diff between 144 and 165 ain't huge.

Yeah I've set my fps limiter to 140 actually, maybe even less. Based on how fluid things are at max, it feels like I'm doing 100fps on average, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's doing 80 - 90 fps range due to g-sync goodness. I only tested the fps display briefly and it was randing between 90 - 120fps depending on map. Regardless, it game feels buttery smooth and looks beautiful. No stutters, microstutters, blur fest, etc. Quite surprised that it runs the way it does out of the box.

Yep you are probably right, not the best idea to run 1080p on native 1440p.. when I checked my 1080p recording I saw min fps drop to low 100s, so 2080Ti isn't fast enough for 1440p max settting on MP if you have 144Hz.
I'm gonna have to seriously reduce some details at 1440p.. anyway I wanna get the Rivatuner Statistics Server working so I can check the minimum/average fps accurately.
