I thought that too - I'm on 115mbit cable and speeds dropped right down - servers must be getting smashed. Back up to 11mb/sec now.

Had a very quick play now. Runs well maxed out avg 100fps at 1440p. By default was rendering at lower res so need to bump to 100 percent.

First time cod has felt different. Was so many people getting UAV I seemed to permanently have a map up anyway. Unless they re added map?

Nice. Thanks. Seems might be slightly more taxing than bfv at max.. does it look decent though, or just another unoptimised pos ?

Don’t forget, still in beta. Hopefully performance issues ironed out when it goes gold.

Hope they don't do a BF with the patching and make the performance go backwards.

This really needs to stop being used. The game went gold yonks ago, and is released in a couple weeks. The only impactful thing that changed between beta and release of blackops 4, was that they gutted the servers from 60hz to 20hz... without saying a word.

These aren't betas. The game is not in beta... regardless of what the marketing peddles.

I take it back then, I haven’t been keeping track and still applied old logic to the release phases. If it’s in fact gold, it’s still subject to change like most games even after official release. Whether it’s a positive or a negative one, who knows. Look at Ubisoft: a roller coaster of clusterfck for a few years, comes good once it’s updated version actually starts surfacing.

Yeh for sure... just cos it is on discs doesn't mean it'll stop being updated, you're right. The issue is more one of timeframe. Essentially, the game is unlikely to change drastically during it's peak playerbase period of release. A decent portion of the non-critical bugs and most systemic issues will still be present a few months after launch. So what you see in beta, is largely what people's entire experience of the game will be.

game plays well on max with film grain off but cant change fov which is annoying and there is no world motion blur [to turn off] from what ps4 players mentioned last week

otherwise plays great but the feel is different and the fov is crippling on a 21:9 screen

Looks quite realistic, lighting is great and lots of SSR & tessellation.

Its a smooth 100fps it was quite steady. I am sure there is more room for optimisation but it passes my test and I'm known for whining about low fps.

Bigger map with 32 v 32 will be real test.

Def not as smooth as I described now I played more. Had to lower some details as it felt stuttery. Better now but is still an issue that happened on consoles too. A stutter as you ADS.

I miss the map.. It needs to be there to rule out team mates making noise.
