Can anyone recommend a nice HTPC wireless keyboard/mouse?

    Ah, I didn't know that! A proximity sensor on the K830 would have been awesome. As it stands though, my complaint is a minor one, I'm still really happy with the K830 :)

    Have the k400r and k830. Both are great. Use them on openelec(rpi2), Windows, android Etc.

    Combined with intels remote keyboard app if you really want to still retain that use and problem solved.

    Just use your phone or tablet then, such a better and easier solution

    Sadly they don't make the Dinovo Edge anymore. Beautiful keyboard for just this purpose. Hopefully mine will last another 10 years! The K830 looks like a suitable replacement if mine dies.

    Yeah, the K800 doesn't have a mouse/trackpad though.

    Logitech happily market the K830 has a Livingroom Keyboard (where it is going to be dark) and don't put proximity in it! Crazy...
