Can't play youtube videos higher than 1080p res?

    Hi all,

    For some reason I can't play videos higher than 1080p res. When I try 1440p or 2160p I will get audio but the video is so pixelated I can't see a thing.
    I have a Dell 1440p monitor with a GTX 780 video card on Firefox 39.0.
    Any ideas as to what might be causing this issue?

    Might be an issue with MSE+VP9 in Firefox. Have you checked that it works in Chrome?

    Checked your connection isn't flakey and youtube isn't dropping back to a low res?
