    Available September 18 on Nintendo Switch (hopefully more platforms to follow).

    [edit] Multi-platform and physical release confirmed:
    http://www.capcom.co.jp/cbac/

    Games include:

    * Final Fight
    * The King of Dragons
    * Captain Commando
    * Knights of the Round
    * Warriors of Fate
    * Armoured Warriors
    * Battle Circuit

    The last two games in the list have never seen a home release before, so that's great news.

    All arcade ports (no crappy SNES versions), and all support the full arcade player count on Switch with multiple joycons (some of those games are 3-player, and some 4-player).

    Dunno. So far Switch games of this level (i.e.: not a single game, but a bundle with extras) have done a pretty good job of offering a physical release, even if it takes a few months after the digital release.

    Warriors of Fate holds a special place in my heart. There was an arcade machine with this in it next to the little cafe at Currimundi beach where my family would go on holidays every year (back when it was literally just a dirt track and not all built up).

    We'd spend all day in the water, then go to the cafe for a feed, a Golden Gaytime, and I'd blow my pocket money on Warriors of Fate.

    Some huge nostalgia vibes there for me. Although in true Pavlov's Dog style, I now crave Golden Gaytimes every time I play that game. :lol:

    Captain commando is the one i pumped coins into as a kid with my childhood friends. That and later on the punisher, would be good if we could see a release of that :)

    As always, not a technology problem, but a lawyers/money problem.

    Punisher and Alien vs Predator are excellent Capcom arcade brawlers, but use licensed characters. Trivial to emulate, financially impossible to get a bunch of greedy corporates and lawyers to agree on.

    100% of the reason we don't see more retro games is always around licensing issues, and never technology issues. Preservation of art is the greatest failing of the 20th and 21st centuries.

    I might pass on this one eh, I like beat 'em ups but I don't know most of these ones - and I'm sure it will be overpriced for what it is.

    I love that game too, which also spurned my interest in Dynasty Warriors.

    Nice story tho ;)

    They're all excellent. There's a good range of older to newer showing how the genre as evolved in arcades.

    If the price is reasonable (now, or later on special), definitely worth the purchase.

    I'm actually surprised the "Dungeons and Dragons" games didn't make it in there (I don't think they're licensed). [edit] Actually, scratch that, it probably is.

    Looks interesting! i think i'll pick it up in a month or two. Loved final fight and knights of the round. I remember the others vaguely.

    Kinghts of the Round was the lonely tabletop at my local swimming pool. I have fond memories of sneaking off to blow my cafeteria money (swimming training incentive) on the game and missing my club race event(s).

    Knights of the Round was also one of my Fave's towards the end there of my arcade existence. I only saw it in real life 4 times, played it twice, as the other times there were too many guys hanging around it.

    Just a heads up, I just tried playing the Mystara dubble, and to be honest, I was sorely disappointed.. did not display properly full screen on my PC, and could only show it properly in a window, which sure as heck removes a lot of the immersion.
    Ill need to play with it a bit more possibly... :/
