Excited to see what Capcom do with this game. Played a decent chunk of Dragon’s Dogma, has some cool systems and mechanics. Really need to go back and play it some more. If the sequel is 2-3 years away I should be finished with Elden Ring by then and ready to play another game .

Looks exactly like Dragon’s Dogma 1. Not a bad thing.

Agreed! It nails the aesthetic with much higher fidelity.

With how good the first one was probably my most anticipated action rpg's that isnt Elden Ring:Shadow of The Erdtree and may cut its lunch a bit!

Only thing I needed to know was that you can still clamber around on monsters. Shame about no co-op though, was my number 1 wish for a sequel.

Yes, Elmf that he did! He also hacked at an ogre's ankles to make it fall down and use it as a weigh bridge for him and his buddies to crossover :)

One thing people don't give DD enough credit for, even though it had a TONNE of things that made it great, for me there's a standout:

Big magic spells. You really get a "grand mage casting a big complicated spell" vibe outta DD. It's not spoken about enough.

You aren't wrong, no game does the spell casting and how truly epic it can be from casting andleveling it had some of the best spell effects for the time especially when compared to Dark Souls at the time with its more melee focus.

Truly think it's one of the most unique and important games for Capcom and if they put in as much care as they have done to the Monster Hunter/RE series with II, their off to the races ;)
