Good idea, not fussed on the design though would prefer some character art on a standard shape. Assuming it's emulated, I hope they do a better job than the mini cabs. Figure these titles won't see a release on current platforms which is disappointing as avp is a personal favourite.

Heh, I kinda like it. Gaudy as shit, but cute in a way.

    Wait, what?

    From the site linked:

"The 16 pre-installed games are from the original Capcom CPS1 and CPS2 arcade ROMs with emulation provided by FB Alpha, delivering an authentic & accurate arcade experience exclusively for the Capcom Home Arcade. "

    Final Burn Alpha - https://www.fbalpha.com/

And with that in mind EUR229 = AUD$360, and for that price I think they've missed the mark.

I saw rumours floating around on Twitter in Japanese with logos of CPS1/2/3 beside them. They could well be extending this past the initial offering.

Everyone complains that online stores are what's missing from mini consoles. Maybe this is the one that does it differently?

The YouTube spot says WiFi is there for online leaderboards. Fingers crossed it's more than that.

I'll leave this here https://twitter.com/fbalpha/status/1118201306034974721 bit of drama it seems

btw for those who don't know David Haywood is a legend in the MAME community, he ran the project for a while and still continually adds support and fixes things regularly.

I'd buy it as a decorative item for a gaming room - if it was less than 100 bux :D :D :D

I think if they didn't go Sanwa... it would've driven the cost down quite a bit.

JLF and OBSF's alone cost a bit.

I'm hating the button layout... The 2p will have a hard time.

It really does look like a light up Capcom sign that's had a control deck put inside of it.
