    SF5 was soul-less on release and horrible with strange frame drops, input skips, just a horrible experience vs Mortal Kombat 11. Online sucked too, although I did hear CAPCOM fixed a few things with patches and DLC's. Unfortunately by then I was long gone, so really rooting this is going to be sooo much better.

    Graphics look siiiick.

    Agreed!! I was literally day one on SFV and it was absolute dog sh*t it was the first and last game that I ever pre ordered and it disappointed me on launch whole heartedly I stuck through it over the years and only got rid of it when it was updated to the arcade edition (for free) and current championship edition on PS plus it did such a huge 360 from where it began, this one looks lush and has more of a third strike vibe and actually putting the street in the fight!

    Core gameplay looks to remain 2D. I imagine the open world stuff to be an added mode something like a 3D final fight.

    Used to be one of my fave characters, but now just looks weird... :(

    It's a butter fly knife comb to be specific, a comb since he's had since The World Warrior :lol:

    And it's probably just the beard that's throwing you off alot of characters you've seen will look different and older in SFVI and the aesthetic and even just the style of the game looks like a true sequel to SFIII.

    The timeline if you care about that sort of thing goes:

    Street Fighter
    Street Fighter Alpha
    Street Fighter II
    Street Fighter IV
    Street Fighter V
    Street Fighter III
    Street Fighter VI

    and don't worry apart from the few costumes shown it's a guarantee they'll have his Traditional costume and look on the capcom or whatever e-store selling for money.99 :p

    Streetfighter 6 exclusive gameplay via Alex, Socksybear & TheoryFighter


    Great indepth look at the capcom showing at their headquarters going on right now.

    Game is looking good! Look at things like ui pacing mechanics the drive system as well as the 'Live Fighting Commentary' mode.

    Looking extremely saucy so far :)

    Someone on Twitter did a great job of digging out all the classic stages from old Capcom games and comparing them to references in the new open world. Heaps of nods to so many classic stages.

    I'll try to dig it up and post some of the shots in later today. But there's definitely a huge mix of old and new, which I'm enjoying so far.

    Would love that whenever you have a chance, I've seen slight nods here and there but not really with the open world warrior stuff

    Just watching a few trailers this morning it looks good! The original SF back in the day was an incredible amount of frustration for me so I had to give it up in the end :lol:
