EK branded pastel red, pretty sure it's the same as Mayhems.

Actually warhead is correct- it's wrong- the bottom outlet should be on the right hand side for proper parallel.

Sure I've seen it done both ways, wanted to shorten that run of tube anyway.

    Cheers.

That would be an interesting experiment, what temps you get when the water is just flowing straight through adjacent to the blocks, and not actually through the blocks.

    looks filth
i like the machined, industrial look of the new ek block headers

big heat spikes due to the minimal flow, i'm guessing

Rigged up a ghetto pump while I wait to sort out my pump top:

Initial stress tests @ stock with no fans (ambient temp around 21deg):

    Thoughts?

Haven't really fucked with this since core 2 days so not really sure what good temps look like. CPU cores are pretty uneven.

looks like one of your 290x's might need a remount- 8 degrees difference is more than expected from the usual slight temp disparity of parallel gpus

cpu core temps seem ok, only a 5degree variance in the max temps there..

Bit harder to tell with the GPU's as only first was under consistent 100% load during stress test, they seem to be pretty close during normal use.

So, got the pump top all sorted. Drained and filled last night.

Pretty much complete, just need to make up some extensions (should have just bought them... :tired:), also considering getting a aquareo because I'm not really happy with the fan controller but that can wait 'till after christmas.

Other than that seems to be running a lot cooler with the second pump, I did some benches before I drained, just waiting for ambient temps to come up so I can do a proper comparison.

A lot more pics in the album, Let us know what you think.

This is crying out for hard tubing. Still nice of course.

The SMA8 is exactly the case layout I have wanted them to make for a long time and its super tempting even with the cost. Its just the very bland uniform look of them that stops me committing.
