Sydney Solvents is where I get mine from, not sure if it's the cheapest but it's the only place I've found that does large quantities.

The scale is roughly 55.6, I didn't bother scaling it up because the model isn't that detailed.

1:55.6 so a 7m tank would essentially be around 127mm? How big is the model?

It's 71.3mm long, 36.9mm wide and 32.6mm high. Really not a big model at all.

Ah ok did you print it as a single object or in parts? The barrel looks a bit warped but i assume it's due to resin pooling under the barrel where the support was?

It comes in 4 parts, the hull, tracks and turrets, you can pick from either the dual guns like I have or a main gun. I didn't do the supports great, that's why some bits are warped.

I've been building 1/6 scale upgrades for my collection too. Made a 1/6 crossbow for my Witcher figure. Designed it based on in game image. Printed it as a single piece.Did a shoddy quick paint job on it and used some balsa wood on the back for the accent. Might stain the balsa wood for a darker colour.

Hope u got the purple kind not the pink ones like i got lol. Apparently got grow light instead of cure light. Great for growing vegetables in house, not so great for curing resins lol

Still much to learn about this process. So far, I've been printing stuff for which finishing doesn't matter that much as nobody will see it (mounts and boxes for electric motorcycle stuff), but I want to do some cosmetic stuff next - mostly dash replacement, as I no longer have a gearbox to take a speedo reading off.

So... Which plastic needs curing with a UV light? I've been reading up on everything from annealing, to sanding/painting/fume smoothing, etc. Never heard about UV light for anything.

I started with PLA and ABS, but I just ordered some PETG, Plasteel and TPU to play around with, so I might not yet have used the same plastics as you.

UV CUring is for Resin printers, not for filament printers. So you won't have to worry about that.
