First thing to do with any ainol tablet - format the internal memory on a desktop/laptop whatever. If you don't, everytime you unmount the internal memory, when it tries to mount it again, it'll spend a fair while trying(5 minutes+). It can also cause a bit of an issue with the lockscreen.

Received my Londge 7" tab from dealx yesterday (order 2 weeks ago Friday). it's not bad, gets a bit hot and only a single proc, it is actually a little smaller than the Nexus7. Works OK for webpages, pdfs, TED videos etc. I only got it for that kind of stuff while tethered to my phone

    Bought one recently...

Only issue is the crappy speaker and the touch screen responsiveness when charging

I'm at a complete loss. Was going to get a Kindle after using No1 Son's and deciding I like it. Then I decided a 6-7" tablet would be even better, seeing I tend to do most of my reading at home and often in bed at night. (I have trouble with sleep these days and not waking Wife is a good thing.)
Now I'm thinking a 10" tab would be better because, well, it's bigger. Do I need bigger? Do I not? If I'm lying in bed the 7 would be easier to hold but the 10 would be better for surfing and stumble. Mind you, I have a laptop that lives beside the bed I can grab for surfing, except I have to sit up for that. GAAAAAA

So, Cube U30GT or the Ainol Novo 7 Flame? The larger or the hand sized? The boringly named one or the ring burn?(Suppository? Anal Tablet).
I may go for the 7 just for the name!

Damn you first world issues. :weirdo:

I ordered the Ainol Flame yesterday for $150 delivered. Wasn't even keen for a tablet until I saw the price and thought why not. It'll probably only get used as a 4th 'monitor' for my iRacing simulator to display telemetry information but I might also consider using it for uni to display PDF textbooks etc.

    Seriously, 'Ainol Flame'? :wired: :Paranoid:

Someone in their marketing department is trolling the entire company. :weirdo:

Just ordered one as well! Was planning to get the Nexus 7 but then it's not available where I live and it cost $100 more if I get it sent from overseas. Secondly, I'm not sure if a 7" tab will work for me so I want something cheap to play around with first. Hopefully the Ainol Flame will be good for my needs (movies, ebook, browser).

I received a courtesy email this morning saying that they're out of stock and are shipping units as soon as they receive them in small batches. They mentioned that if my order isn't shipped within the next few days I will be refunded but I contacted them basically saying noooo I am happy to wait

Don't use it much, and haven't rooted or done anything custom, but its a really professional, snappy device. Works well, and the speech to text is really accurate.

I need to get a bedside table so i can use it as an alarm / email / handypad more often.

Just ordered one as well, at $150 how can you lose?

So glad I didn't end up forking $400-500 for a Samsung 7" Tab when I was in the USA earlier this year. :)

Not laggy at all? I'd be interested to see how it matches up with something like a gtab2.

Looks like reasonable specs. And HDMI also.
