    Caught up with my mate Jai today. Went underneath the Riverside Expressway for some impromptu pics.

    Thanks to bbcw1980for the desperately needed 18-55mm kit lens for these :thumbup:

    All shot on D40 and off camera flash for first 3.

    Yeah dude I like the off camera flash ones - nice ring lighting in the hair and the shots pop out. I like the textures down there too, nice for portraits.

    Now I got some cactus 4's, we'll have to catch up sometime so you can teach me a few things seeing I'm total n00b :D

    Last one is my pick of this bunch. The colours add a good sense of contrast and clarity to his clothes/pose etc.

    last one: i like how the arrows direct our eyes to the left, but his gaze is to the right. :thumbup:

    I'm a superstar! Thanks for the photos boyce. They're really awesome.

    (in the last one I was mostly looking right because we were worried we were gonna be taken out by bikes coming flying down that hill)

    Hah I dont blame you! There were some pissed off riders when I went back with the drummer dude later on. Bloody bikies.
