Pixel 4 128GB @ 599 from Vodafone is good value as well (just have to cancel the month to month plan immediately). You then get invoiced, so can also salary sacrifice the purchase price of the phone (if applicable).

Aliexpress customer support is usually very good tho, you can always just open a case to cancel

With the Redmi K30 (link is the "zoom" version) being released earlier this week, this phone ticks so many of my boxes. The only major concerns though are its glass back (but nearly every phone these days has one, and is difficult to avoid) and the Australian exchange rate. When it gets released here, it might get up to $1,000 and at that price point, makes me wonder if I should spend that little bit more and buy a "branded" phone. In the past 5 years, our family has bought nothing but Xiaomi made phones and I have gotten to like their MIU skin.

a Mi9T Pro or Mi Mix 3 will give you 80% of the K30 at 50% of the price, so it's a tough choice

My Galaxy Note 5 died recently due to it running into a wall at high speed.. (don't ask).. SO i looked around and found the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro after watching lots of review videos.

Have to say I am impressed with the phone. Battery charges super fast and lasts at least 2 days with quite regular use. Is much faster to open apps than my Note 5 was.

Paid $357 (Brand New) from Kogan...
