Chinese news agency introduces AI news anchor

    To be fair, he's got more personality than most of the muppets you'll see on Australian commercial news channels.

    The pair of suit-wearing, male AI news anchors — one speaking Chinese and the other speaking English — made their debut at the World Internet Conference in east China's Zhejiang province.

    I don't really watch broadcast TV and actively avoid general news, but from what I do see the talking heads are almost deliberately trying to be personality-free, so it shouldn't be too hard to simulate them. :)

    I haven't seen lip syncing that good since s.t.a.l.k.e.r. Shadow of Chernobyl.
