I am quite possibly more hooked to this game than any I've played in the past. Doesn't matter what game mode or map, I just find it fun.

I seem to be very inconsistent.... I'll jump on a server and be close to the top and just land everything.

Next map I'll miss every god damn swing and get completely destroyed. :wired:

I wonder if they've stopped dead bodies from breathing, blinking, and still talking yet :Paranoid:

    nope

Also if they die screaming from being on fire they continue screaming after death, they never seem to stop even several minutes later.

Combined with the battle cries it a pretty screaming heavy game in general.

Brings a smile to my face every time.

I love the screams, especially with headphones on in FFA games with lots of people.

The funniest ones are the ones that get burnt to death near your camera right when the round ends.

I don't know if its just me, but I'm finding myself drawing lots of comparisons with Spartacus. Decimation reminded me of damn archers with their cudgels, and now I see Lugo throwing a maul around.

Hope someone makes a Spartacus mod. :D

so.. if you've got mediocre internet would you recommend this game or not?

Does it require awesome internet FPS style? my internet is very up and down.

    Cheers,
    Dan

I find this game more ping dependant than most fps games personally.

Anything over 100 ping and you start to get a lot of frustrating unfair feeling deaths (like dying before you even see the other bloke begin to swing).

It doesn't help that the server browser lies, I usually find my ingame ping is double what was indicated in the browser before joining.

I don't fucking get this POS game. I've played enough medieval combat style games to know what I'm doing... The blocking system does not bloody work. I'm having people get me through what should be successful blocks, including when I am using a shield. I am also finding some people can swing faster with larger weapons than I can with smaller ones.

Is this the sort of game where you must use the same hacks as everyone else to stand half a chance?

    Waste of fucking money.

You can't just block and expect not to be hit, you have to move your pointer to the tip of their weapon, while blocking, to do it successfully. But yes the lag and awful netcode can still get you killed.

Had an awesome game of team last man standing before. About 8 v 8, our team got demolished and our last guy managed to kill the 6 six remaining enemies. It was awesome
