I spent Christmas in Spencer this year. It's a funny little town situated on the Hawkesbury, in an extremely beautiful area - I took some photos while I was here, which I'd like to share: 1. Bus Stop On the right side, it says "Welcome to Spencer" On the left side, a graffiti'd gangsta looking guy holding a gun sideways, pointed at the viewer 2. Souths-ide 3.Ghosts at the Table It's the first Christmas I've spent with my dad in about 20 years... this might be more poignant if we hadn't been in regular contact in that time 4. Reflecting on the backyard 5. All the World's a Stage (Act 1) 5. All the World's a Stage (Act 2) 5. Cicada ... nothing exciting here I'm not sure any of these are overly spectacular, but I'm feeling a lot more confident in my shooting lately, so I guess you can think of it as an update to show you my progress (since this forum has been my main source for ...well, everything photography related ) Shot with a Nikon D40, and a combination of a very old 55mm/F3.5 nikkor micro and an old 70-300mm/F4.5-5.6 lens' Hope you like
Thanks I think it is a letterbox... I think they got it right. If it was just a black helmet with no bunnies on it, that would be a rather ominous sign for visitors
Well, looks like I may have got the last photos of the bus stop before it became a Volunteer Fire Brigade project (4 days later)...
