FFS guys, no one runs 4kc12 or 3500c11 in a daily.

Aussie, these 2 are trolling man. Put them in open, not daily. Maybe having a daily category is a waste of time. Otherwise the whole thread is a waste of it’s like this.

are you serious Shane. Jesus dude, take a freaking chill pill.
We are all enthusiasts here, you are no god, I am no god. We do what we do because we enjoy it.

you and old mate here keep doing the crap you do like spoilt little teenagers bragging when you have nothing is getting old and irritating. There’s no point.

I don’t comment a lot on here anymore and think many others are the same. Maybe you both need to make like CJ and leave until your brain functions at least 1% normally.

Hey. I started posting in this thread purely to show you guys were off with your scores. Little bit of fun and banter but also helped to get you guys in line. Pumping out a score with just max clocks is cool and all, but having a score in line with what it should be is far more impressive.

spit, you have good gear there is no doubt. Working on the attitude to go with it is all you need. Unfortunately you have the wrong person in your ear as you might see below. Given you started here rough, is hard to come back from, and yes you made strides. But your offsider is pulling you down, not propping you up.

Now, onto the pressing issue here. Normally I would send this in PM, but since you prefer to flex in public, I’m happy to oblige back.

shane, grow up and leave the personal attacks out of this. I’ve been probably one of the most tolerant people on the forum here and abroad, hell, call me Switzerland, but now you are crossing the line and I’m done.

You know what I do for the community, you know how much I help people yet you take to public forums to attack me for speaking up that you guys are off the mark. Consider yourself now on my block list with CourtJester. Just the 2 of you together. There is literally only so much people can take and you hit my limit which is very hard to do. You are running out of people to share the amazing hobby with, I hope one day you look back and realise the bridges you have burnt trying to flex unnecessarily. Goodbye old friend.

Mate, he's CPU can do whatever he likes:thumbup:.

I prefer to achieve a lower score and still have a cpu, but others can see it differently. May because i pay $ for my gear;)

Guys, you can torture your gear any way you want, just don't pretend its a safe setting for 24/7 use.

Even if you run a chiller and 1.45v 24/7 it will go in the open clocks section.

A mate of mine (rest his soul) used to play competitive quake 3 with a core2 at 6ghz under a 2 stage cascade, he would have gone in the open clocks too.

lot of focus here on CPU core volts for 24/7 daily, but no one seems to be paying attention to the fact you need high io/sa volts, up to 2+ ram volts, and less then 4gb ram available to windows to run a lot of these high freq and tight timings on the memory. And I don't consider that daily, regardless of the fact you may only be running 5g @ 1.25v on the core.

This exactly right. You don't need to have scores on a forum to state fact omg!

Shane I don't know you but you seem like your a man with a chip on his shoulders. Don't know why or what has happened to you to make you like this.

All I see are people trying to help you out and give relevant information about how overclock settings are very different when you talking daily and all out balls deep outright oc which is to the max.

And those ram speed and timing combinations are outright balls deep on the edge. Your SA and dram volts would be super high and totally unethical to call them daily not to mention needing maxmem.

The simple reasoning for all this is you can't be competitive in outright so you think your smart and you linger in the daily area so you can go right to the top. Why can you do this and others play by the rules?

If you cannot distinguish this difference you have a serious problem.

How old are you? Serious question.

To prove a point. Booted XMP. 53x 45x 1.3Vcore easy shit as I do every day. Ist R15 within 15 points no tweaks.

    Actually exactly correct.

Only reason your being an assss in daily is because you can't best glnn's score in outright.

This proves my point for what both of you are doing. Your score is good in daily but your scores suck in outright.

That is the simple reasoning for this. What is sad is that you think ocau members are that stupid that they are unaware that you doing this.

    Please stop the charade.

I visit the CPU/GPU/OC sections of OCAU a fair bit less these days as every second thread is spammed to death with immature nonsense from a select few posters. Just because I may not post regularly, doesn't mean I don't enjoy reading, keeping up with the latest news and seeing how other people's OC and benchmark rankings are going. I do enjoy following the rankings too, even if I don't compete myself.

It doesn't help that these same posters also frequently have horrific english/grammar/punctuation, adding to the general vibe of bickering and immaturity. Or in the case of a certain troll poster whose name has many numbers in it, frequent terrible advice being given out to a point where I'm not sure if it's severe incompetence, or just outright trolling.

It has been discussed via pm with a few members, of course it has been noticed and while a few members might have extraordinary cpus the rest of us have average units. There have been other threads in the past focused on efficiency, such as the 4.5ghz 3Dmark physics challenge (before every cpu could hit 5 ghz easily) and the superPi threads, so the principal is the same here with flexibility on clocks. Maybe I should just delete the "daily" ranking and everyone can go for it with gloves off.

I mainly included the "daily" section so the every day dude can come and play, and because I like playing with low voltage overclocks so I wanted to see what others can do with low volts. Yes of course you can run 5.6ghz 1.45v every day if you want to but its not in the spirit of "daily" eg testing the low volts capabilities of our hardware.

I didn't start this thread to cause a sh*tfight and I'm not going to referee one, please play nice.
