    Sick of getting enough sleep?

    Release Date: October 21st 2016

    Steam store page

EXPANSIVE EMPIRES: See the marvels of your empire spread across the map like never before. Each city spans multiple tiles so you can custom build your cities to take full advantage of the local terrain.

ACTIVE RESEARCH: Unlock boosts that speed your civilization’s progress through history. To advance more quickly, use your units to actively explore, develop your environment, and discover new cultures.

DYNAMIC DIPLOMACY: Interactions with other civilizations change over the course of the game, from primitive first interactions where conflict is a fact of life, to late game alliances and negotiations.

COMBINED ARMS: Expanding on the “one unit per tile” design, support units can now be embedded with other units, like anti-tank support with infantry, or a warrior with settlers. Similar units can also be combined to form powerful “Corps” units.

ENHANCED MULTIPLAYER: In addition to traditional multiplayer modes, cooperate and compete with your friends in a wide variety of situations all designed to be easily completed in a single session.

A CIV FOR ALL PLAYERS: Civilization VI provides veteran players new ways to build and tune their civilization for the greatest chance of success. New tutorial systems introduce new players to the underlying concepts so they can easily get started.

Sounds like they are borrowing some good ideas from Endless Legend.

I just loved how a bowman can attack a tank, and still cause damage. Hopefully that nonsense stops with CIV6.

Admittedly it's day one but I'm not sure if I like the cartoony art style.

I think i've really been enjoying with civ (beyond earth excluded) is the fact the they generally make the graphics more life like every time with all this extra detail, atm given what i've seen it looks more like they are trying to push it to lowend devices more eg. tablets maybe even consoles instead of the main focus around pc's by providing less graphical detail by going with the cartoon style (i'm sure the is a different word for the style).

I will still be buying this however.

Unless its Oliver Queen / Arrow and uses armour piercing arrows. :D

I spent 5 hours last night in Stellaris and not long after it was 5am and was time to go to work.

I created a race of Khajit and they enslaved humans. Hahhahahahaha

This flew under the radar. It's out in 5 months. :Paranoid:

It's all sounding good. Cities have needed an overhaul for a long time. Looking forward to stackable units again too.

Hopefully there will be a sweet collectors edition I can waste money on.

Tank stops because Driver needs to urinate.
Archer shoots driver through the dick
    Tank neutralized.\

    Suspension of disbelief is everything.

As a massive civ fan since the original, I would be happy if it was civ 5 with improved AI and diplomacy.
It took a couple of expansions, extra civs via DLC, and a handful of patches, but Civ 5 has to be one of my all time favourites, and certainly my most played game of all time.

I might not be prordering though, as I like to wait for a few patches etc before committing to any purchase.

it's probably going to be crap until the expansions come out. i didn't buy civ 5 for ages because of the huge markup in australia. vanilla was OK but not that great, i didnt buy it until God's and kings came out. beyond earth was a heap until rising tides and even then it's eh. def not a pre-order title

It's unlikely to be on GOG.com or any other No-DRM distributor; and it's unlikely to allow you to play with controversial leaders like Hitler/Stalin so forgive me for not giving a crap about Civ6.

Did Civ V ever get user created mods? Not sure how moddable the newer Civ games are/will be?

Supported on Steam Workshop. I would think VI will be as well.

    This made me laff.
