I saw something like this in Japan. At first I thought it was chocolate in the shape of potato chips, but then realised they were chocolate coated.

I can't imagine they would taste that great.. ???

I'd give them a try but not really too sure of they would taste any good though...

Are the germans also spearheading the bulk importation of salty, sugary snacks over there as well? :p

i duno dude... it has potential.

I have a mate who every time he went to the movies would buy a box of popcorn and a bag of M&Ms and eat them together. I thought it was sick until I tried it and now every time I go to the movies I buy a box of popcorn and a bag of M&Ms and eat them together. FTW

I reckon they'll be the next sugar-coated peanuts. Wouldn't mind a packet myself.

Its the salt and sweetness that makes them work well together. I would imagine that the pre coated chips would taste pretty crappy due to using cheapo chocolate. Much better to grab a good chocolate and a bag of kettle sea salted chips.

I think Cadburys make something like this.

I've tried them before but its a thin chip, not crinkle cut.

It's not a salted chip either so its just like crunchy chocolate, was yummy.
