    im building a new bed at the moment :)

    this guys thinks 8700k is better buy than ryzen for generaul use and games.

    Congrats, I am running an 8350k atm till I can get my hands on an 8700k.

    Feeling jealous of all you lucky ones who have managed to get an 8700k.

    Just confirming, the mounting holes are the same for the hsf aren't they?

    Looking at upgrading from my 4670k and want to reuse my trusty NH-D14.

    d & h AND 8700k at my place this weekend...just need to find an APEX :)

    Scoprtec will have them 18th...doh. Looking looking.

    Anyone got a recommended build? Need M2, memory (32GB @ 3200) and mobo. Rest I have.

    I was going to get the HERO if i got a cpu today, and then change the APEX next week, but doesn't look like my cpu came in today :(

    Yes, all 115x sockets use the same mounting points.

    My 8700k didnt arrive. Bummer.

    Just had an offer of $200 for my 7700K. Thats rude.

    Think i may keep my golden 7700k and apex, heress hoping the 8700k i get is a goodie!

    Hmmm. Now i’ll need to delid the puppy. I guess I’ll see how it runs first and then put it in a vice and hope.

    Anyone in melb offer delidding/relidding for a few beers?
