I'm surprised you haven't posted this yet, but I'm guessing it's a little too in favor of Intel for your tastes

At the moment maybe a Apex if $ aren't a factor. No Z370OCF happening but I have heard the Tachi is benching well. Top gigabyte boards might be ok too but my z270 SOC has nothing compared to my z170 OCF and SOC LN2 when it come to memory clocking.

Where did you find the Maximus X Apex from mate? I thought both these Apex and Formula aren't available until November (in the U.S/Canada anyway)

Not worth upgrading at current prices. Wait for the next gen then buy this one

Stability, I personally think Prime 95 is like hitting something with a hammer, keep doing it and eventually something will break. I prefer Aida64 or Realbench, although XTU still has its place for a 10-15 quickie.

I'm seeing around the net that Asrock are also having LLC issues.

Ive told you they have been slipping and are relying on their reputations of old

despite what you think gigabyte / asrock are making better boards now a days.

I can confirm that LLC and other tested setting on my ASRock Fatal1ty Gaming K6 appear 100% fine.

LLC testing with the same fixed voltage gives me the following:

    LLC 1, Prime 95, CPUz = 1.184 Load
    LLC 2, Prime 95, CPUz = 1.152 Load
    LLC 3, Prime 95, CPUz = 1.120 Load
    LLC 4, Prime 95, CPUz = 1.104 Load

I didn’t bother with LLC 5, it’s obviously working as intended.
