This is what my son and I did on my days off in 2010. Set up various Hot Wheels track layouts using vintage Redline era Track and cars from 60s - today. Through my interest and the all consuming Ebay, I could relive those days when I only thought of about Hot Wheels. It's always been a dream to acquire Redline era tracks and accessories. I stopped after Mrs threatened leaving me. I'm not one to stash away collector items in a display case....so let's go!

Very nice. :) The video is really well done - can I ask what software you used to put it together?

slightly off-topic but this reminded me of something I saw dumped at the tip the other day - about 25-30pcs of assorted Scalectrix track that seemed to be in reasonable nick. If only there hadn't been a tip employee around I would have scavenged it...

I've always wanted one of those tracks, but Mrs already threatened to leave if I bought anymore toys.

As an only child for 6 years, my nanna used to treat me to a hot wheels (and then micro machines) each week. By the time I was six I had a couple of buckets full. I never had tracks but always thought up little scenes with them. My favourite hot wheels? My Col Trickle Mellow Yellow NASCAR and truck :)

Easy to say, but I need more space to hide everything from her Haha!

btw: I think the Green 1968 Redline "VW Beetle" from the video is my most valuable, at $30 - $50?
