well I only have a QHD 32" and I have no issue with Evince Document Viewer and my workflow, rather than make up reasons not to use it as it was default with Xubunu I just modified my behavior to use it and ALL its features. Saying something is shite because it is different to your current approach is exactly what the mouth-breathers you complain about do, now I'm not saying you aren'y justified but suggesting that you cannot replicate your paper and pen process on a computer in the digital age in a computer enthusiast forum... really!

Besides the end goal is to use less paper and save as many trees as possible because global warming and deforestation is bad M'kay... also say no to palm sugar. PEACE OUT MAN.

    Afternoon gents.

The first of my interviews from the previous month's applications are starting to come through. Time to pull the pin on this place.

I'm excited. The past 6 months have been crap, looking forward to the future.

    ITYM "boganisms".

From what I've seen from the collective marketing material, the bogan vote appears to be the only one that really matters.

If I was creating an election campaign, I wouldn't chase your vote. It would take too much work and you aren't going to believe anything say either.

    Welcome to Democracy.

I'd imagine, living in QLD makes it seem far worse than it is in the rest of the Country.

    oof.

Last week during application testing on a SQL 2008 to SQL 2017 upgrade our records management app broke as it used FASTFIRSTROW. (App was TRIM, it's 20 years old, replaced and sold off a few times)

We ended up using a hex editor to patch a 20-year old binary via the workaround here https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/2164251-copy-sql-2016-database-sql-2008r2 and it worked.

Oh, I totally get that. I don't expect politicians to do any better. Lowest possible effort for maximum possible reward.

I also understand this. Which is why I'm in favour of benevolent dictatorships.

West Sydney gives the whole of Queensland a run for its money.

Was about to say this. Although not just West, Cronulla isn't exactly a western suburb.

Have to give us banana benders credit though, we did spawn One Nation.

I was thinking "El Presidente Musk, Lord of Mars". I think that's where I'd like to go.

Wonder how long it would take a colony of mars to get jack of their dependence on or governance from Earth and it turns to war? Mars attacks takes a new meaning.......

I like him. I think this time delivery leaves a lot to be desired but he is genuine in his quests and reasons behind it. He's not doing it for the money.

Given the choice of Musk-pineapple versus literally any Earth-politician-pineapple, I know which one I'll choose to put up my bum.

Extra points for shipping me off-planet so I don't have to hear all the other basic Earthling bullshit ever again.
