Hey millennial get some life experience and decide for yourself for a change.

PS - Make a stand for something and protest the establishment, then I will respect you millennial even if I don't agree, but chances are if you object the establishment then the old punk in us will support you.

When it changes to DST they crack the shits because I have to make them come in an hour early. When it ends they crack the shits because I'm holding them up.

I've never once sent thoughts and prayers, does that count?

Can someone help me come up with a relatively nice email to respond to this lady? There are so many red flags I don't really know where to start lol

What about? It's merely a notification - which they're obliged to do. She's not asking for you to reply at all.

Unless I'm missing some other context?!?!

I'm guessing he's assuming that scammers did not actually have access to her machine, maybe believed one of those fake popups telling you the sky is falling? No idea. Nowhere near enough information.

Perhaps if QLD adopted things like Daylight Savings, tourism could replace digging rocks.

It was more about storing all our information on a USB

Also they use an ozemail account, not sure if they would have as good spam detection/virus scanning as something like o365/gmail

It's a flawed statement to start with. Mining/natural resources only makes up 11.8% of QLD's GDP. The mining sector only employs ~50k people in QLD, vs ~290K in health services, 220K in retail, 200K in construction etc. Mining is disproportionately represented here because nobody wants to let go of 'the good times'.

where else would you store it that wouldn't have been compromised by someone with access to their PC?

yeah, because they're still using the same servers from the 90's.

more people visit the great barrier reef every year than live in your capital city.

i think they're doing ok without DLS.

You are like a scratched record sometimes. All that DST yet how's sydneys nightlife these days?

Until there's an actual reason why we must play with our clocks like we have obsessive compulsive disorder twice a year, i think i'm fine with sunrise at 4:30am. it literally doesn't effect you.

Lost USB, broken USB, probably no backup.

I am less concerned about the data breach.
