Expenses go on the P&L.
In fact that's my new tagline: "Weirder than elvis!".
shredder at least elvis uses his alter ego Luke212 to quote himself and visa versa.
Bloody Beancounters ;P
Could be worse....
We have equipment in Telstra's Sydney DC (ex-Pacnet), which also serves as our main delivery point for core telstra services such as internet and SIP. Telstra decided earlier in the year that the DC would be shuttered on Nov 30....Problem is, they have been completely unable to get new services in to *ANY* DC in Sydney in time for Nov 30, nor can they deliver the internet or SIP services to any other site we already have an MPLS connection in.
So far they can offer such helpful suggestions as: We'll lend you a 4G modem to run your DC off, we can get you space in a different DC to the one you moved in to (but no connections) and you can stay in the DC until mid-Jan but we'll still demolish the DC around your equipment (and you'll need a construction white card to enter the DC).
They could at least offer you a 5G connection. After all its going to change the world!
Customer just fell asleep while on a remote sesh with a colleague. Only rant to go with that is that I wish I was sleeping.
Had a colleague nod off during a training session I was giving once (and here I was thinking my training sessions were fun). The rest of the team did the only respectable thing and filmed it.
Reminds me of the story Here's Why You Never Fall Asleep on a Quentin Tarantino Set.
I wish movie theaters would employ "Checkpoint Charlie" to ban phones.
Surely you can just intercept a 10 second stream of you looking interested, and keep refeeding that into the VC stream, whilst you do actual work
This. Some asshole had their phone on silent, but flashing the camera flash light when they received a message - which they were responding to as well in the middle of Dark Fate the other day. Suffice to say it was distracting as fuck when you keep seeing it flash out the corner of your vision all the time.
What a team
Sigh, another O365 outage :/
Not an outage. Just Microsoft realising the world is a better place if they just switch Excel and Outlook off for a bit.
they're being DDOS'd by the entire world, it's not only O365 thats down
Come to PabloCloud... my exchange environment is fine.
So you're saying that your Exchange environment is available as a Cloud offering?
Cloud is just a wanky term for "someone elses systems"... so sure, why not
