The education department of WA uses (as you would expect) an edu domain.
    However they also use education.
    ie. Education.wa.edu.au

The decision to do this was presumably made by those working in the department of reundancy department.

And email/VPN all over the planet just stopped working. I'm sure most IT guys will cry over this, but still....

Email is all cloud anyway, so they can keep their real IP's.
    VPN gets replaced by Teamviewer.

It does for numpty sites anyway. Anyone who doesn't understand basic security concepts happily uses it "because it's easy".

It's called living on the edge!!

Plus it's easier to smoke bomb in public than when people are at your house. Because, you know normal people drink together and not alone in their own houses...right?

Having a vent about all the stupid over a beer is the only thing that keeps me from going insane. Venting requires someone to vent to, so...yeah.

Make it at a certain place that has retro games, beer and meat, and I'm in.

With all due respect  good luck dragging many of these jaded fuckers out for random public beering. (edit: you go, elvis! your proposal does sound good....)

There was a bit of a Brisbane crew in the pub that've met up several times over the years, spiritually led by veteran members like Bern and Meowmix (neither of whom seem to be showing up in the @ member list any more).

I still struggle with the meat being an optional extra. PANSIES!!

Yeah, I'll get around to that - some curmudgeons are banned form The Pub so I figured I'd start here

He might not be ready to expose his dungeon to you..

Go on. It has my full and doubtless indispensable moral support. If I wasn't 5000km away, I'd even attempt to try to drag myself.

    Saturdays or Fridays work best?
I'm aware it's the 'season' but if a few decent people say they can go on a certain date then fuck it, why not go for a few beers (doesn't have to be a big night....but it could be ;)

    I can do!
    Next Friday - 6th
    Friday 13th (oooer boogie boogie)
    Saturday 14th
    Friday 27th
    Saturday 28th

Nothing clashes with events on at Netherworld

I'm Sure Libre Beer looks and smells like the what the rest of the world understand when you say "Beer"... but when it comes down to it, it will be sorely lacking in a few key areas, nonetheless, a few militant supporters will continue to swear by it.

Meanwhile the people who are more interested in pragmatic business requirements will continue to use shitware beer in isolation, despite communicating openly with others about their apparent pragmatism over technologies built on libre beer.

All the while, enormous companies will continue pedalling libre beer by the truck load while the rest of us moving at light speed happily give up on the old shitware beer.

Vegans are great. They'll never ask for a taste of my loaded fries, burger and shake.
