at a customer site, they decorated with tinsle and crap. I modified one of the dashboards so everything is nicely red and green in the shape of a tree.

When asked if I changed the thresholds to do that, or just broke a dozen carefully chosen apps to do so. I smiled and nodded.

At least it's not international roast! The true display of corporate sadness.

You know it's shit office coffee when it only comes in huge packets and you still get change from almost any note. It's the ground up poo from rabbits which scavenge dead leaves from the coffee plantation floor. As noted in Sun Tzu's famous reference, The Shart of Floor.

If you favour international dust over blend 43 there is truly something wrong with your taste buds. Please see your doctor.

Customer: We didn't hear back from you regarding integrating your app with <insert accounting package>
Me: You wanted a new integration written, tested and released for zero dollars in three days...

Customer: Yes. Is there a problem with that? We could make it 4 days if you need more time.

No problem at all however the process of decrypting the source code will be at the cost of $1200 an hour and needs to be performed regularly.

I do exactly the same for sites that demand scripting. If you can't provide basic functionality without forcing ads/spyware/tracking/social integrations/every other useless crapware ever/etc. I'm moving on.

My script blocker defaults to deny all.

I find hitting escape as the page loads 50% of the time will remove the pop up and allow me to view the content.

And often you can F12 and modifiy the DOM visibility of elements etc.

But 99% of the time the same content is available in other places that don't try and infect your PC/invade your privacy. reward those places with your traffic/custom.
