it's not like the census, everyone has 3 months to get it in.

as long as you don't do it the first day or the last day, it'll be fine.

Everyone likes to think they get their money back faster if they do on the 1st. Little do they know they don't even start issuing refunds until the 14th or something.

or that its done via batch processing runs, well it was last time I was approached to work there a few years ago, on some old mainframes written in an old obsolete language even more antiquated then COBOL.

Law cam in to effect after this asshat was doing it so non applicable as trading was done prior to COVID

You sound just like Mr I like to rake up a 60K+ debt in Nov-Dec then when we start debt collection in Feb 2020, now try to hide behind COVID as an excuse for not paying, nope not the way that law works.

One thousand apologies for being unaware of the time delay between your shit-legalling and your shit-posting. Carry on.

Yeah, I have to hold off on mine for a couple of months while all the prefill stuff meanders in...

Also, so I don't have to pay what I am going to owe as quickly....

Big employers have until the 14th to submit their STP figures. Smaller it's the 31st July.

Why would employers need to submit STP figures? The root bridge is elected and convergence occurs all without employer input.

    Possibly single touch payroll...

I'd even go so far as to say that it's probably single touch payroll, but 1) this the enterprise computing not finance thread and more importantly 2) I'm deliberately misunderstanding for comedic effect.
