You forgot to mention that its delivered as a service, its all about moving to a consumption based model

Are they delivered using a zero trust model?

Customer: MS SQL Server is ready to go!
Me: SSMS is saying it can't connect and I can't see the services running.
Customer: But I totally installed SSMS.

So uninstall/reinstall and bill them extra and tell them they didn't do it right. I am yet again faced with how useless this industry is, i get it, creative arts is a dead end career choice, the next best thing to do is go into IT despite having zero passion or drive to it professionally with the level of attention to detail comparable to a small child with ADHD and no ritalin left. just end up there clocking in at 9 leaving at 5 and giving zero fucks every minute in between. Do everyone a favor if you can't install MS SQL properly, become a plumber because protip: Shit flows downwards.

Hearing that might be enough to dislodge the crayons out of their ears.

Well I can verify that new Microsoft Edge is Chromium based.

My regular browser Google Chrome no longer works today and new Microsoft Edge which I occasionally use has also stopped working.

Have had to resort to my third backup browser Opera.

    Wait, Opera is also Chromium-based!

(Also, maybe you should have Firefox around as a non-Chromium backup?)
