Yep, our O365 is borked. I cant log into Outlook. Others cant log into Teams. "Transient" errors that dont go away.

Win10's twice yearly updates and the mass migration to the cloud is showing me just how difficult change is for people.

Teams put a bunch of very useful upgrades in recently, and despite the improvements there's endless bitching from staff about change.

People would absolutely rather inefficiently brute force their way through a task than learn a new thing to be quicker. No wonder 80% of jobs are mindless busy work.

Current status: We've identified and are reverting a recent change to the service which may be causing or contributing to impact.
Scope of impact: Any user may experience access problems for Microsoft 365 services.

If you're gonna fuck up, fuck up in sytle!

Typical. All the O365 outages I've seen lately have been due to a fuckup in putting in changes.
And I was on this "workshop" about MS Teams a couple of weeks back saying they have like 4 rings of testing, and changes take 3-4 months to work their way through them, with all of MS running on the change for at least a month or two before the public.
    So...how does it get through?
Sounds all like a load of BS to me.

    I disagree.
The quality of the software they have been releasing lately, it appears the product that we use hasn't even made it to Beta stage yet.

my team are all impacted, so is my wife's [big 4 bank] employer - they can't even send or receive e-mail internally, although for some reason they can externally. strangely though her GM's mail and Teams are apparently working, and he's incandescent that he's got about 150 staff that all say they can't work without mail/teams/sharepoint - he's sure they are all wrong.

I told her to suggest that everyone use their private gmail accounts for bank business and see what happens. :)

It's global and if your application had an active session already then it remains up.

    Issue is related to AzureAD

Suspect this one is on the Azure/auth side of things. It's still up and running ok on my mobile.

My Outlook worked for about 10 minutes this morning, and Teams wasnt - enough to see an email from Workplace about an issue. Then the reverse failed (outlook worked, teams died) and now both arent working.
    Same employer as you :)

Not even kidding, I'd still take two-nines of cloud services uptime over five-nines of on prem.

Worth the "cost" to be the guy taking a coffee/beer break while someone else fixes it for once.

I'd imagine it'll be hit and miss depending on whether the auth server you happen to hit at the time is fixed or not.

Well I can load the login page now. Still can't log in. Guess it'll be back soonish.
