I tried a lift and shift of my on-prem bridge to become a cloud bridge, but it was more expensive. Fuck it, I'm going back to ferries to get across waterways.

Was the root cause doing a find and replace of "X" where the resulting string was prefixed with zeros, across billions of rows?

I think I may have worked out who Luke212 works for.

Couldnt possibly be. There has got to be instances of people "going Postal" over it. Likely IT people who are sick of complaints from Finance that their sheets, that are linked to 10 other sheets and set to re-calculate every single time (and they refuse to turn that off) take too long to calculate on their computer, and that they need the latest i9 based machine. Bonus points when they get the CFO involved "because they cant do their work, and IT arent helping"

Double bonus points when said CFO excel sheets don't calculate properly, because said CFO keeps clicking on that message about an invalid link "Because it always comes up".

I keep getting an error message every time I open it.

    Well what does it say?

    I don't know. Something about a thing.

I don't have time for warnings.

It's all too technical for me.

I probably should have written it down.

more likely it's "can't you just fix it??" and when you get there, they're nowhere to be found.
