sounds like you're dealing with the most experienced tech in that company.

It takes decades to reach that level of incompetence.

Interesting that they'd tell you in advance why you're looking for another job?

    You won't take a pay cut either - probably a 20-30% bump.

Probably also contention. I know when I worked in an MSP, we had like 6 or 7 people with a particular skillset who were expected to look after about 300 customers; with a total of like 1200 sites between them.

Mine didn't, theirs did. Judging by the frustration the customer wasn't pleased with their efficiency either.

MSPs: the cheapest resources at the highest palatable price.

Personally, I'm surprised it wasn't a contract renegotiation, requiring a project to scope and deliver said mouse clicks. all at extra cost of course.

Right Clicks are out of scope. Here's a variation charge.

This reminded me of how often I see DA passwords in plain text usually in a spreadsheet or notepad. To make it more concerning these are not the passwords of people within my org.

I once heard of a guy who stored his document backups in an encrypted 7z file renamed "britneyspearsnude.mp4" uploaded to piratebay.

    Millions of redundant copies overnight.
