To be fair... whoever's been "managing" this has been sitting on it for like 6 months so it should be ready for production. Also to be fair... they weren't given a PM or any support because we don't limit ourselves to ITILs definition of a project anymore, that's now called "Operations". Seriously I'm about ready to quit. I can't handle Manglement (thanks Gumby) coming to me asking me to implement things with no resourcing and budget. They asked for Office 2019 today and was like "it's 2021 can't we get 2019...?". Yeah it's 2021 and I said we needed another FTE in 2020. It's now 2021, no new FTE and instead you've taken one of our FTEs to "help" (using up all of his time) with other duties. So who the fuck is actually going to do the work? What am I kidding, the pay is too good in a city with shit wages. Though I have heard the US is opening up to the idea of remote Canadian IT workers. But I would have no idea how to even start looking up jobs. What do you call the guy that manages your entire fleet of workstations and peripherals?
