I also dealt with a lying vendor. They claimed to our support team that they have never provided us with MSIs, that changed to "not recently". I sent the support guy an Orca screenshot showing their latest MSI's property table populated with all the vendor's details. Our support guy wanted a call to discuss it, I was like nah bro email only since you guys keep believing the vendor and ask us this every 6 months, I want a CYA for next time you pull this shit so I can tell you to figure it out.

ok, my pet hate for the day: why the frack would you put clearly broken fibre cables back into bags and then back into the store room?! I wasted nearly an hour trying to find replacement cables that weren't broken in our store room. And by clearly broken, I'm referring to SM LC-LC cables where the head on one end was clearly snapped :(

I get little choice, use what the customers use.

I do get variety though. got clients for pretty much every collab tool there is.

I haven't had so many text messages in a long time - "is it just my Teams broken?" "Not my internet must be Teams itself, but Outlook is working"...

Heh fortunately we'd setup an out of band chat for the team so whilst it is annoying, we have options

Ugh turn it into a cat of nine tails and start some carnage.

I've snapped a few of these having to swap the polarity after cablers terminated the patch panel the wrong way around, but instant bin chuck.

Teams seems to be doing stupid shit again (par for course).

I have multiple 365 accounts across a few organisations and because the Teams desktop app doesn't let you log in to more than one at once I run various instances of the browser based Teams web app logged into my other accounts using Chrome profiles. In the last few days this has stopped working - opening the Teams web app has it now logged in to where my Teams desktop app is logged in to, no amount of logging out and logging in fixes it. I tried logging the desktop app in to another Teams account and sure enough all the web apps also logged over. Logging out any of the apps also logs out the rest, same logging in. So it appears the workaround of running a shitload of Teams instances logged in to various accounts no longer works.

Needless to say this is incredibly annoying - anyone come across this or got a solution? I don't really want to resort Microsoft tech support...

(never mind that multiple account support should have just been a feature to begin with... imagine if Outlook could only use one account per instance.)

Create a new local user and then run the browser as that user.
